Jennifer Aniston talks TikTok going viral

Jennifer Aniston has been credited with creating a salad that has gone viral on TikTok since May. Unlike the traditional Cobb lunch, which contains chickpeas, mint, pistachios, red onions and cucumbers, many were heartbroken after her costar Courtney Cox claimed Aniston packed a bowl of Cobb TikTok users are trying to copy the former Friends star's go-to lunch. For ten years, it was something to do every day while filming the beloved sitcom.

The rumors originally stemmed from a 2010 interview with Cox. "Jennifer, Lisa (Kudrow) and I have had lunch together every day for ten years. It's a salad Jennifer made with turkey bacon and chickpeas, I don't know what it is. She has a way with food, really. It’s very helpful,” Cox told the Los Angeles Times.

The resurfaced chat inspired @lovelydelites to recreate Aniston's alleged favorite treat, and the specially crafted #jenniferanistonsalad has now been viewed a whopping 18.2 million times on TikTok.

However, as delicious as chickpeas may be, the actor has now publicly disavowed her love for bean bowls, clarifying her preference for eating a piece of chickpea every day. "Okay, that salad, do I dare to expose it?" she told ELLE . "That's not the salad I eat every day on 'Friends .'"

"I felt bad because it was really taken off like crazy, and by the way, it looked like a delicious salad, but it wasn't the salad I had on 'Friends ,'" she added. "To be honest, I would never put that many chickpeas in a salad. It's not good for the digestive tract."

As for a true friends salad recipe? The star of the show has remained tight-lipped.
