Magnum's New Ice Cream Is Like Millionaire's Shortbread, But Better

We may still be in lockdown 3.0 and the weather may not be exactly giving off summer 2021 vibes, but when the frozen dessert masters at Magnum launch the "most luxurious ice cream ever," you gotta pay attention. Magnum has launched its Double Gold Caramel Billionaire Ice Cream, and it tastes just as good as it sounds. Here's how to get it in the UK.

Inspired by the British classic Millionaire's Shortbread, or if you're super awesome, Billionaire's Shortbread, this ice cream combines buttery shortbread cookie pieces with a double swirl of ice cream in pecan and cookie flavors. So far, so good? Well, that's not all.

Take a bite of the golden caramel crackle chocolate that coats the ice cream, and you're rewarded with delicious layers of gooey salted caramel sauce, completing the transformation of Billionaire's Shortbread Tray Baked Layers into a decadent frozen dessert. “The new flavors offer fun-seekers an unparalleled sensory ice cream experience,” said Magnum. Sensual indeed.

Double Gold Caramel Billionaire Ice Cream is also available in tubs. But this is no ordinary tub of ice cream. Oh no. The entire tub is covered in thick, crackling chocolate and gooey salted caramel. No wonder fans are already going crazy for it. "Okay, I'm in love with Magnum Caramel Billionaires," one Twitter user wrote.

Magnum's signature crackled chocolate is made by Belgian chocolatiers using premium ingredients and sustainably sourced cocoa beans and is Rainforest Alliance certified. Magnum Double Gold Caramel Billionaire will be packaged in a newly designed carton made from at least 75% recycled fiber and will be sold in most UK supermarkets in packs of three, singles or tubs.

Magnum's Double Gold Caramel Billionaire Ice Cream is available in Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Co-Op, Ocado, Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Iceland for £3.69 for a pack of three, £2 for a single, or £4 for a tub. Exclusively available at Ocado, the mini sticks come in a 6-pack for £3.89.
