Beyoncé wins VMA red carpet as always

Queen Bey has been rocking the VMA red carpet since her Destiny's Child days in the '90s, so she definitely knows what she's doing. That's why it's no surprise when Beyoncé absolutely stole the show at her 2016 VMAs dress, wearing an angelic dusty-blue sequined dress with very delicate feather shoulder pads.

At the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, Beyoncé gave a very stylish date - none other than her adorable daughter Blue Ivy, who wore a very gorgeous sparkly headband and Bronze sequin and tulle dress. Beyoncé accessorized her lavish gown with pretty braids and a pair of green earrings.

Beyoncé has received 11 VMA nominations this year, which is the most nominated artist tonight and a personal record for the Queen, so it makes sense that she would want to kill it on August 28. After all, she was basically guaranteed victory. There are very few moon people, so she probably wants to look flawless while accepting an award (yes, I've been there).

Beyoncé's VMA outfits over the years have ranged from a leather bustier to match her Destiny's Child bandmates to a sequined blazer she wore when showing off her pregnancy in 2011. Her 2016 VMAs look is definitely one of her best yet.

But, of course, because she's Beyoncé, one outfit isn't enough. After the performance, Bey accepted the award for Video of the Year for "Formation," wearing a sheer white dress reminiscent of a wedding dress.

Beyoncé, who also won the Female Video of the Year award for "Hold Up" earlier in the night, wore a gold jumpsuit topped with a cape to remind us she's truly royalty.
