Britney Spears is finally telling her story on her own terms in her new memoir, The Woman In Me — but she might not be done yet. The singer teased the second book on Instagram on October 29, calling it the "second volume" of her memoir, but then apparently deleted the post.
The tease appears to contradict Spears' statement days before the book's release, in which she said writing "The Woman Inside Me" " gave her some closure" on the events covered in her memoir and helped She is focused on the future.
"Much of this book is from 20 years ago," she explained in a comment on Instagram. "I've moved on and everything is beautiful from here on out! I'm here to build this for the rest of my life! Anyway, that's the end of it and then it happens!!!"

In her now-deleted Instagram post, Spears announced a new book will be released in 2024. "Humor is the cure-all!!! Keep playing!!! Volume 2 will be released next year...get ready!!!" she said.
Sources tell Variety that there is no "Volume" yet. However, "2" is in production.
Spears, who has been open about how much work it took to write her book, said after announcing she underwent therapy while reliving her past. "I worked my butt off for this book," she said in an Instagram video.
"I went through a lot of therapy to finish this book, so you better like it. If you don't, that's okay."
The woman in my heart is successful
The immediate success of "The Woman In Me" may inspire Spears to pick up a pen again. Spears celebrated on Twitter the day the book was released, calling it the "highest-selling celebrity memoir in history" just a day later.
"Thank you to the fans for your continued support!!!" she wrote. "Love you guys."
Sales data corroborating Spears' claims won't be released until later this week. However, The Woman Within Me was already at the top of Amazon's bestseller list prior to its release, and remained at the top spot until October 29, when it was overtaken by Matthew Perry's posthumous 2022 memoir .
