A year into their marriage, Bennifer is still finding new things to love about each other. In a new interview with Vogue , Jennifer Lopez opens up about her husband Ben Affleck, sharing how he changed her perspective on inner and outer beauty.
Feeling "more beautiful"
“I was expected to know my worth, to know my worth,” she said. "I feel more relaxed and comfortable, which makes me feel more beautiful than when I'm with other people."
Lopez said she can now embrace all aspects of herself, including her flaws. "I'm finally at a point in my life where I unapologetically love every part of myself," she said. "Every part of me, my body, my voice, my choices, even my mistakes," she added.
“All of this has made me who I am and what I am today.”
One thing that hasn't changed in their marriage, however, is Affleck's skin-care routine, which remains largely unchanged. "I did put JLo Glow Serum on him!" she pointed out.
Married for one year
The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary in August, and Lopez posted photos of their official celebration at Affleck's Georgia home, which came a month after the pair eloped in Las Vegas held.
"Dear Ben," she wrote. “Sitting here alone, looking at my ring/Feeling overwhelmed, it makes me want to sing/How did we get here, without rewinding/Oh my gosh, this is my life…”
The title is a lyric from Lopez's "Dear Ben, Part 2" from her upcoming album This Is Me... Now . She launched the album on Thanksgiving, revealing how the title and cover echoed her 2002 album This Is Me...Then , which contained a lot about Affleck when they were first engaged before their split in 2002. Love songs written.
A release date for the album has yet to be announced, but soon, fans will be able to hear Lopez tell her own love story for the first time.
