Emily Ratajkowski's Latest Look Makes Me Miss Fall So Much

As Memorial Day weekend approaches (and the official start of summer), I'm starting to think back on how hot it is in the veritable melting pot that is New York. I'm talking about those days when the wind in the subway was the closest thing to a breeze. Sure, summer has its perks, but when it comes to fashion, everyone knows autumn reigns supreme.

Emily Ratajkowski—model, best-selling author, and queen of New York street style—previewed the pieces in her fall '24 wardrobe when she stepped out on May 17. Even though summer isn't here yet, her look makes me want to hit the fast forward button and fall.

Emily's earth tones

Ratajkoski was spotted strolling around the city wearing a dark cherry leather Nour Hammour coat. Her chocolate brown trousers were baggy enough to keep her looking comfortable, yet chic. The podcast host completed her look with black ballet flats and a cropped T-shirt.

Fall color combinations prove that burgundy and brown—arguably two of last fall’s most popular colors—are still going strong in 2024.

She accessorized with gold hoop earrings and black and brown sunglasses. I "immediately" added this to my fall mood board.

A Look Back at Emily's Iconic Fall Outfits

In the fall of 2023, Ratajkovsky essentially turned a walk with her dog Colombo into her own personal fashion show. In one particularly stylish example, she wore a Knwls shearling-lined olive coat, charcoal jeans and Fendi animal-print boots in the same color as her dog's fur.

In November 2023, Ratajkowski stepped out in another statement coat, this time a caramel shearling style from Nour Hammour with a furry black lining. Underneath, she wore a black turtleneck sweater, perfect for keeping warm on a cool fall day.

If these cozy looks don't have you dreaming of apple picking and cider donuts, I can't help you.
