Christmas is all about hearty food, and judging by Aldi's giant Ferrero Rocher-style desserts, it's going to be a festive one this year.
The dessert, called the "Selected Chocolate and Praline Dome," is a delicious multi-layered chocolate ball. According to Marie Claire , it's "filled with milk chocolate and hazelnut mousse, milk chocolate wafers and cocoa sponge cake, then encased in a hard chocolate and hazelnut shell." Since it's straight out of the freezer, you have to Take it out for an hour before eating, but no judgment if you accidentally start eating it before it reaches optimal temperature.
The limited edition pudding will be available in the frozen aisle of your nearest Aldi supermarket from 26 October and will be available to enjoy throughout the festive period. Unfortunately, unlike traditional Ferrero Rocher, it's not wrapped in gold foil, nor is it a multi-pack. However, it flips a lot and is certainly something worth stocking up on.
Aldi loves to offer delicious special edition items, and while this may have been a hot item in 2020, in 2019 it's all about one insanely huge item - their two-metre long pig wrapped in a blanket.
Speaking about this year's Christmas range, an Aldi spokesperson told Delish , "No one knows exactly how things will change come December, but one thing we know for sure is that Christmas will not be cancelled."
