Sofia Richie rocks the biggest trends of 2024 on her new magazine cover

At this point, the words "quiet luxury" and "Sofia Richie" are almost synonymous. Earlier this year, her signature elevated basics and luxe designer looks became the blueprint for fashion girls looking for ultra-feminine style. Lately, however, the style muse has merged her penchant for effortless luxury with another ultra-chic craze.

Lately, Richie has taken subtle style cues from the coquettish aesthetic, including endless pastels, bows on bows, and ballet class ensembles, while staying true to timeless blazers, button-down shirts, and chic pants.

The it-girl's latest foray into the world of coquettishness? Her recent cover photo shoot for Net-a-Porter magazine "PORTER" appeared on Instagram on December 11.

Sofia's coquettish fashion

For her latest cover, Richie wears an eye-catching little black dress by Nina Ricci, photographed by Alexander Saladrigas (the creative mind behind some of your favorite Vogue photos).

Featuring a luxurious oversized bow at the center of the bodice, the black silhouette combines her love of trendy neutrals with an edgy, flirty feel.

At first glance, the look was classic Richie style, but the understated sparkly straps added a festive touch, giving the minimalist-loving mogul an unexpected minimalist feel.

Throughout the photo shoot, she further embraced her fashion-girl vibe, completing her look in sheer black leggings from Wolford and invisible sunglasses from Saint Laurent.

She also likes to bow and turn

Given Ritchie's love of ultra-feminine style, this coquettish detour was a long time coming for her. However, if you've been paying attention to her recent outings, you might remember a certain look she wore back in June, when the eye-catching bow first appeared in her wardrobe.

The star was spotted by paparazzi on her way to a Chanel dinner event in Beverly Hills on June 14 wearing a little black dress from the studio's Spring/Summer 2023 show, which she paired with a semi-sheer maxi skirt and bow Embellished bodice. It's strikingly similar to her "PORTER" look.

Continuing the sultry vibe of the look, Richie accessorized with metallic Mary Jane pumps, a pearly mini clutch and a satin stretch belt, all from Chanel.

Recognized by fashion muses everywhere

Although Pinterest trend forecasts predict that "bow stacks" are bound to be everywhere by 2024, Richie and key members of the celebrity community are already getting a head start on adapting to the style.

Which celebrity approved of this look? Sarah Jessica Parker wore a giant ballet-style bow on her head during a recent performance at the New York City Ballet. Paired with an off-the-shoulder Carolina Herrera tutu-style midi dress, the accessory cascaded like a train from the hem of her dress.

Earlier this year, at the 2023 Met Gala, Sydney Sweeney walked up the infamous stairs in a Miu Miu nude mermaid gown that featured a black tulle bow at the front that coordinated with her matching oversized hair bow.

Bows are now a mainstay on the red carpet.
