You can book a Hobbit-inspired Airbnb in Ireland now

If you're hoping to vacation abroad this year, or just need a last-minute getaway, look no further than this cozy little Hobbit- inspired Airbnb in Ireland. This is basically an excuse to turn your entire vacation into a Lord of the Rings themed trip.

The cabin is called CroPod and is located in rural County Donegal. The “mountain cabin” has all the typical Airbnb amenities: a double bed, kitchen, bathroom and comfortable work space. However, it's all in a space tucked into the side of a mountain. According to the Airbnb listing, CroPod combines contemporary design with Irish archeology. Don't worry this is an old Airbnb that takes the Hobbit theme to the extreme, and the CroPod does include indoor plumbing, heating, and Wi-Fi access. Unfortunately, neither Elijah Wood nor Martin Freeman are listed as part of the facility.

In classic Hobbit fashion, the CroPod can only comfortably accommodate two human-sized guests, making it the perfect space for a romantic getaway, an end-of-year trip with friends, or a solo getaway to the Irish countryside. You're just a short walk away from a secluded beach and have easy access to the mountains, where you'll find views of seven lakes. Even if you choose to stay in a hobbit house for your entire stay, you won't be disappointed.

Others noted that the tiny design doesn't come at the expense of comfort or amenities, in case you're worried you might end up like a hobbit People huddled around homemade fires like that.

Accommodation from 22 December to 25 December costs £315 (USD 412.66). While it doesn't include a £42 cleaning fee or a £42 service charge, the price of £77 a night (which translates to just over $100 a night) isn't as outrageous as you might think. Unique, pop culture-themed Airbnb listings.

Plus, as of the time of this article's publication, if you do want a last-minute getaway, there are still plenty of attractions open throughout December. While the days around Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are currently booked, spending Christmas Eve in Ireland is sure to be a surprise.
