As an employee of The World Elite, Raed al-Saad appeared in Season 1 of My Unorthodox Life for "a full minute," as he put it. In the second season, he received more screen time. "Ra'ed and I are in an open relationship," former Elite Model World COO Robert Brotherton reveals in the trailer for the second season of the Netflix reality show. But they don't seem to entirely see eye to eye on the arrangement.
"Aren't you complaining about him dating other men?" his friend and boss Julia Hart asks in another scene, to which Robert replies, "I'm not complaining about him." Elsewhere in the sneak peek, Rye De showed off his comedy skills while joking about "trying to be a pop star." He quipped: "People always ask me, 'Why are you so handsome?' "I'm like, 'Because I flat ironed my hair.' 'Robert's response? "No one said that."

Ra'ed, who was born in Lebanon, met NBC's "The Voice" coaches Christina Aguilera, Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine in 2015. He went on to compete on the Arabic version of The Voice later that year and even competed in a battle round. In another twist of fate, in April 2016, he interviewed Aguilera on the red carpet for the NBC series, joking that he had to ask her about "orgasms."
"The Voice" isn't the only reality show he's participated in, either. Ra'ed describes himself as a "nighttime vocal performer," and his other IG posts identify him as a contestant on Let's Make a Deal, hosted by Wayne Brady. in June 2016, ABC's The Gong Show in July 2017, and NBC's America's Got Talent in 2019. However, he was not as successful as The Voice . In a clip released from The Gong Show hosted by Mike Myers in disguise, judge Chelsea Handler called his "operatic whistling" performance "so annoying."

On America's Got Talent , he auditioned for an original song called "Celebration," but judges Simon Cowell, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough and Howie Mandel unanimously agreed Vote against him. Regardless, he continues to post videos of himself performing operatic music, and even recently took the stage at Robert's Cabaret " My Unorthodox Christmas Cabaret" on November 30 in New York City.
Ra'ed also owns a bernedoodle named Richard and has shared several photos of them together on Instagram, including a red carpet photo from the Season 1 premiere of My Unorthodox Life . Still, the adorable pup shared the social media spotlight with several other stars, as Ladd revisited his years with Heidi Klum, Mariah Carey, Joan Rivers, Ricky Martin, Mia, Stevie Wonder, Leona Lewis and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ' Kyle Richards and Taylor Armstrong (although he Mistaking the latter for Kim Richards).

Like Robert, Ra'ed attended Syracuse University, graduating in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in music business and vocal performance, according to his LinkedIn account. Two years later, he earned a master's degree in classical vocal performance from the Manhattan School of Music. After moving to Los Angeles, he held positions including fundraiser manager for the Los Angeles Opera, live music event producer and hotel manager. On the AGT show, he said he drove a Hollywood star's home tour bus and sang for customers.
Ra'ed eventually returned to New York City and began working as Robert's Executive/Personal Assistant at Elite Model Management in August 2020. On LinkedIn, Ra'ed describes his position as a "multi-faceted role providing administrative assistance to the COO (Chief Operating Officer)" Robert Brotherton is responsible for day-to-day functions, personal and business taxes, scheduling, emails, Zoom calls, rosters, Bookkeeping and business acquisitions. ” In addition to this role, he also works part-time as a social media marketing manager for a line of all-natural dog treats called Fully Bully Sticks.
