After releasing their first song in 20 years in late 2023, *NSYNC performed together for the first time in over a decade.
Justin Timberlake's *NSYNC bandmates Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, Joey Joey Fatone and JC Chasez joined him on stage for a surprise reunion.
As seen in the video shared on Timberlake's Instagram Story, the boy band treated fans to some throwback hits, including "Bye Bye Bye" and "It's Gonna Be Me," and also performed their first-ever New single "Paradise," appears on Timberlake's upcoming solo album Everything I Thought I Was .
Shortly before taking the stage, Timberlake posted a clip of "Paradise" on Instagram - band member Kirkpatrick teased that the song was in the works, writing, "It will be fun to perform it together some time."
The March 13 concert was the band's first live performance since the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, when the band reunited to perform a set of their greatest hits to celebrate Timberlake's Video Vanguard Award.
*NSYNC fans were quick to comment on the surprise reunion. "I'm not crying, you are! Beautiful boys!" one user said on Instagram, while another fan wrote on X: "Can they go to the Super Bowl next year?"
After Timberlake's free night of concerts ended, he shared a photo of five empty stools on stage. His bandmate Bass commented: "It was fun. Let's do it again soon."
"Paradise" is the follow-up to *NSYNC's first album in two decades, "Better Place," which was released in September 2023 for the Trolls: The Band Together movie soundtrack. That same month, *NSYNC delighted long-time fans with a surprise appearance at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.
Timberlake discussed reuniting with his bandmates on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" in January 2024, saying the band still had the same "chemistry."
