Everything you need to know about Netflix's Paris Cooking

Paris Hilton has added celebrity chef to the list of dream jobs on her already enviable resume. The hotel heiress will launch her own show, Cooking with Paris, on Netflix this August. Variety magazine first revealed news of Hilton's latest TV venture on July 12, saying the DJ will be cooking up gourmet meals with the help of national celebrity friends.

The Netflix series was inspired by a YouTube video from Hilton's personal account in which the reality star made headlines for making lasagna. Hilton's standalone video for "Cooking with Paris" has been viewed more than 5 million times since it was posted to YouTube in 2020. For those who can't wait to watch the socialite's debut cooking series premiere, here are details on the show's guest stars, trailers, release dates and Hilton's upcoming recipes:

Cooking with Paris guest stars

Cooking with Paris will be very different from other cooking shows on television. First, various entertainment celebrities will accompany Hilton as she "explores new ingredients, new recipes and exotic kitchen gadgets." Mom Kathy Hilton and sisters Nicky, Demi Lovato, Saweetie, YouTuber Lele Pons and comedian Nikki Glaser Both make cameos in the Hilton's kitchen.

However, the highlight for many fans may well be the confirmed cameo from former Hilton assistant Kim Kardashian. West and Hilton's legendary friendship has been through a rough patch, but the two appear to be going from strength to strength with West appearing on Hilton's new show.

Cooking with Paris trailer

As if a visit from the star of Cooking With Paris wasn't enough to whet appetites, the trailer for the new series looks mouth-watering. The video shows Hilton marinating meat (is there a new salt tycoon in town?), stirring macaroni and cheese, basting, frying and cutting, all while wearing stylish outfits. But as the trailer goes on, This Is Paris producers prove she's still far from becoming the next Iron Chef. While enjoying a meal with Kardashian, the billionaire Calabasas queen hilariously responded "I spoke too soon," and another vignette showed Lovato coughing after tasting a dish . "You guys watching at home, we did it wrong, so we did it the other way around for this part," Hilton said, with Lovato laughing next to her.

Kitchen disasters aside, Hilton blends culinary vulnerability with charm. The Simple Life star's extraordinary fashion choices are sure to delight viewers. Not surprisingly, she was even spotted wearing a bright pink gown and matching bedazzled face mask, posing in a grocery store aisle filled with various cereal brands. Hilton even had a diamond-encrusted spatula and seemed to burn the diamonds off while grilling burgers with Glaser.

Paris Hilton's Recipes

Hilton's recipe was also briefly teased, but fans will have to wait a little longer for its release. People magazine reported in July that she was originally scheduled to launch her cookbook in 2020, but unfortunately, that plan has been "postponed" until further notice.

While Hilton clearly doesn't know what tongs or tomatillos are, her discovery that "any bitch can cook" is hot.
