The Blink Outdoor 4 is a cordless camera, which means you'll run on 2 AA lithium batteries, which will last up to two years. The camera is also weatherproof, has motion-activated alarms, a live view mode (for up to five minutes without a Blink subscription plan), shoots in 1080p, has two-way audio, and works well with the Alexa ecosystem. (Unfortunately, it's not compatible with Google or Apple Home Kits.) You'll get the Sync Module 2 with your order, which provides local storage for your videos on a USB stick, meaning you don't need to get Blink if you don't want to subscription. No matter where you set it up, the camera offers a 143-degree diagonal view and optional person detection if you purchase a Blink subscription plan.
