The wireless Google Nest Doorbell is a classic video doorbell. This product is battery powered so installation is as simple as attaching the bracket to the wall and clamping the camera to it. The trade-off is that you need to charge the camera about every two and a half months (depending on your usage). The battery version can't connect to your ringtone because it's wireless, so you'll rely on your phone for notifications (or a Google Home speaker, if you have one). The Nest Doorbell received a "Good" review from PCMag, where you can read more about its specs. You can get one for $129.99 (regularly $179.99), which is the second-lowest price according to Price Checker .

The camera gives you three hours of video event history and one hour of local backup storage in case your wifi goes out for up to an hour. It shoots 1080p HDR video, has night vision, can recognize faces (if you pay for a subscription), and has dual-band WiFi connectivity. This indoor-only camera earned an "Excellent" rating from PCMag.

For those looking for a security camera with a light, the Google Nest Cam with Floodlight is on sale for $199.99 (originally $279.99), or $80 after the discount. The floodlight camera is very bright, equipped with two 4,000K dimmable 2,400 lumen LED white lights. It earned a "Good" rating from PCMag because it can record 1080p video and respond to Google Assistant voice commands. The ability to use voice commands is what sets this floodlight camera apart from most of its competitors, and if you prefer using a Google system at home, this is your only option.
