Meanwhile, Jimmy's erratic behavior leads his neighbor (Lukita Maxwell) to step in to raise his child, while his co-worker Gabby (Jessica Williams) and friend Brian (Michael U. (played by Lee) tries his best to accompany him.

With "Ted Russo" wrapping up its third season, it's no surprise that Apple TV+ greenlit "Shrink " for a second season on March 9, as both shows share similar themes of healing and finding community . Goldstein said the team gained a lot of insights from Ted Russo 's success, primarily about how to craft stories that matter. "The main thing I learned from Jason Sudeikis is about intentionality. It's easy to make things interesting. I don't say that lightly, I'm just saying that when you find interesting people, it's easy to make a show interesting or uninteresting. , as long as you like,” he explained. "The decision is, 'Why are you doing this? Why are you putting this scene in? Why is this character doing this? Everything should matter."
