"Shrink," from the co-creator of "Ted Russo ," tells the story of a therapist who begins telling his clients what he really thinks about them. Jimmy Laird (Jason Segel) is grieving the loss of his wife and decides to abandon the couch and take his patients into the field, much to the dismay of his boss Paul (Harrison Ford). Co-creator Brett Goldstein (aka Ted Russo 's Roy Kent) said the story was at least partially inspired by the creator's own experiences with therapy. "It's such a unique relationship between therapist and patient," he told The Hollywood Reporter . "[The therapist] knows it all, and may go on for many years, but there are still these boundaries.
