Hazelnut Wispa bars are trending right now – here’s where to find them

Chocolate lovers rejoice, Cadbury is giving one of their favorite chocolate bars a makeover. The brand has announced it will be redesigning a bar that hit shelves nearly four decades ago. Yes, Cadbury's Wispa Golden Hazelnut Bar will be available on September 6th, and it sounds delicious.

If you love chocolate, then you're probably familiar with the delicious bubbly texture of Cadbury Wispa. Next month, you'll be able to get your hands on a new caramelized hazelnut version. It combines aerated chocolate with a layer of hazelnut-flavored caramel.

You can buy it from all major supermarkets and retailers. However, if the combination of nuts and caramel sounds like something you'd like, you'd better act quickly. It's being released as a limited-edition chocolate bar, and Delish outlines that there's no word yet on whether it will be permanently added to the Cadbury selection.

Cadbury junior brand manager Joshua Collier told the Express : "We named the Wispa Gold hazelnut bar 'The New Gold' due to its rarity and delicious hazelnut-flavored caramel filling. The bar has been a long time in the making. 18 months and we hope Wispa fans will enjoy its interesting launch."

What makes the launch of Wispa Golden Hazelnut Bars unique is that customers don’t just get the chance to try this new dessert. The brand announced a partnership with YouTuber Niko Omilana to allow people to purchase "shares" of new products.

If you are 18 or over, you will have the opportunity to buy a fictional #WispaGoldHF 'share' for 69p. The pre-sale period starts on August 28th and will reopen on September 1st. The first 4,000 people in the first phase and the first 1,000 people in the second phase can invest. The stock will move up and down, regardless of its final outcome, which will indicate the amount of gold bullion one gets. You can have access to up to six bars.
