Beyoncé has already made history in her yeehaw era. On February 20, her new single "Texas Hold 'Em" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. This makes the singer the first black female artist to top the charts.
"Texas Hold 'Em" amassed 19.2 million streams and 39,000 copies sold in its first four days, replacing Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves' Glee The US award-winning single "I Remember Everything" topped the charts, spending several weeks at No. 20. Bey's other new song "16 Carriages" also entered the top 10, ranking 9th.
Bey topped the Hot Country Songs chart. She and Taylor Swift are the only two female singers to debut at No. 1 on the charts, with Swift having previously debuted at No. 1 in 2021 with "Love Story (Taylor's Version)" and "Everything's Alright (10 Minutes)" Edition)" achieved this feat.
