Kylie Jenner's red latex dress follows years of Kardashian family rules

Everyone knows that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but there's a little-known rule in the Kardashian-Jenner family handbook: "Wear latex when in Vegas." Khloe Khloé Kardashian introduced the rule in a 2016 tweet after learning about it from celebrity stylist Monica Rose, while her youngest sister Kylie Jen Kylie Jenner seems to have noticed this too.

Kelly's red latex dress

Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner kicked off summer with a tour in Las Vegas on May 10 to promote their respective beverage brands, 818 Tequila and Sprinter. Both served literally and figuratively: Kylie wore a knee-length, figure-hugging red latex dress, while Kendall kept it simple in a Benny strapless top from One Mile and matching shorts.

Kylie later posted the photo on Instagram, calling it a "sister day off." The pair were tagged at the Summer Kick-off at Marquee Dayclub, Liv Beach in Fontainebleau and Kassi Beach Club at the Virgin Hotels. Neither of the pair's looks were necessarily "pool party," but the pair looked summer-ready as they handed out drinks to excited party-goers.

Unsurprisingly, big sister Khloe seems to approve of Kylie's latex look. She praised her two little sisters in the comments on Kylie's post, writing, "Yes... you two are so perfect." Many fans agreed, with one writing: " You two are perfect for Vegas.”

Hug latex

Not everyone is brave enough to wear latex, but Kelly and her sisters have been making the material work for them for years. It might even be her favorite outfit when competing in sprint races. When Kylie launched her vodka soda line in March, she wore a black latex bodysuit and pencil skirt from Alaïa's Winter/Spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection.

On both occasions, Kylie opted for coverage pieces. The material itself already made a bold statement, so she balanced it with a longer train. To top it all off, she wore no accessories — save for her Las Vegas sunglasses — instead opting for beige heels.

Service as always.
