Cadbury's sold-out Creme Egg beer gets final restock

In 2021, Cadbury Creme Egg will celebrate 50 years of its sweet, gooey goodness. While you can buy these desserts year-round, Cadbury has teamed up with Goose Island Brewery to create a unique way to enjoy the Creme Egg anniversary this Easter. It might not be a collaboration you see, but Goose Island Brewery is no stranger to breaking the rules when it comes to beer, and if you're a fan of the Easter dessert, you'll soon be able to try it in drink form. The celebratory beer is named Golden Goo-Beer-Lee Creme Stout and is finished in the traditional Cadbury Creme Egg colour. The Goose Island Brewery website describes it as “This egg mixture of barley malt, oats, wheat and toffee (lactose) provides a deliciously rich and creamy texture, with cocoa nibs and vanilla beans enhancing the creaminess and chocolate The flavor is rich and creamy. “This is a smooth, rich and balanced celebration beer. ” This might be the Easter treat you didn’t know you needed.

Celebration beers are available on the Goose Island website. However, after its launch on March 3, the first batch of 3,000 bottles sold out quickly. The second (and final) version will be released on Monday, March 8th at 11am. So keep your diary.

Cadbury Creme Egg brand manager Raphael Capitani told the Daily Mail of the idea: "We've always championed the unique and wonderful way to enjoy Cadbury Creme Egg, and with this With this launch, we’ve taken EATertainment to a whole new level and we can’t wait for people to try our first beer and raise a glass to five delicious Cadbury Creme Eggs.”

It is estimated that 500 million Creme Eggs are produced each year, two-thirds of which are purchased in the UK. It is the most popular product all year round. Goose Island winemaker Andrew Walton said they wanted to make something that everyone could enjoy. He told The Independent: "We wanted to make sure whoever tried the beer it was unique and delicious. The delicious taste of the stout complements the iconic Cadbury Creme Egg; we wanted to enhance the chocolate and creaminess of the beer , while keeping it super drinkable.”
