Easter may be the main holiday for chocolate, but there's nothing better than a jar of your favorite Christmas chocolate. Last year, Costa launched an ambitious Christmas menu that combined coffee with the country's favorite desserts, including premium street chocolate and Terry's Chocolate Orange, and this year Costa's 2021 Christmas menu will continue that tradition. Read on for all the details you need about the drinks and snacks available through December 25th.
Forget about premium street cans, Eight Mints and Terry's Chocolate Orange Slices, because starting November 3, 2021, you'll be able to experience these treats in latte and hot chocolate form.
On the caffeine front, the popular Purple One from Quality Street returns in latte form with "rich caramel chocolate sauce and toasted hazelnut syrup." Joining the ranks this year is one of the most controversial treats in a Premium Street tin: the toffee penny. This latte will be "blended with a rich golden caramel sauce, topped with a light dairy swirl and topped with a crunchy caramel topping." If you prefer a classic, you can swap out the Mocha Italian Blend for a limited-edition 's winter specialty roast coffee, which features "warm spices, dark cocoa and berries." Gingerbread lovers aren't forgotten either. Not only is the gingerbread latte coming back, but it will now be available in cans, too.
When it comes to hot chocolate, Costa adds mint to the After Eight option and orange syrup to the Terry Chocolate Orange. Like the latte, both drinks come with their own After 8 coffee slices and Terry's chocolate orange slices.
Speaking of snacks, Costa has relaunched its Terry's Chocolate Orange Waffles and After Eight Waffles, as well as launching a new range of desserts. These include Clementine Cranberry Loaf Cake, Golden Billionaire Cake and Chocolate Glitter Cake (filled with hazelnut and chocolate flavored frosting).
Vegan Santa Gingerbread, Jamie Rudolph Shortbread and Crispy Chocolate Stars are all favorites, and this year there will also be a Reindeer Cake, decorated with adorable chocolate antlers and a red nose.
On the savory side, Costa has reintroduced its festive British Pork and Bramley Apple Sausage Roll and British Turkey and Garnish Toast. For fans of Pigs in a Blanket, you can now purchase their limited edition maple-glazed Pigs in a Blanket crisps. There’s also the amazing vegan turkey, cranberry and stuffed bloomer that’s worth a try too.
