Cadbury is introducing three new flavors to its list and will allow fans to vote on making one of the delicious products permanent. That’s right – the Cadbury Inventor Competition is back and it’s asking for the help of chocolate lovers everywhere.
Foodies will be able to choose from three new flavors: Banoffee Nut Crumble, Crinkle-Free Brownie and Sizzling Cherry, all created by the public.
First up is the Banoffee Nut Crumble, developed by dad Josh, 31, from Birmingham. The bar is made with a delicious combination of milk chocolate and banoffee pie-inspired fudge chips, golden almond caramel chips and crunchy cookies. Josh said he came up with an idea to put all of his favorite desserts in this bar, and it sounded like a winner.
Next up is the 19-year-old Sophie's No Frownie Brownie, which, as the name suggests, is a milk chocolate bar filled with gooey chocolate brownie chunks, salted caramel chips and crunchy cookies. The Scot invented her bar to celebrate her mum's favorite baked good: the humble brownie.
Finally, there's Fizzing Cherry: a fruity treat created by Roxy, a 34-year-old civil engineer who wanted to make cherries a year-round favorite, not just a summer fruit. Her chocolates feature milk chocolate and soft cherry slices, tingly poppers and crunchy cookies.
Those wishing to declare a winner have until September 5 to do so. Simply vote at cadburyinventor.com and wait for the results later in September.
Each chocolate bar costs £1.49 and is available from all major retailers as well as cadburyinventor.com
