'Workaholics' season 6 guest stars impress

Comedy Central's Workaholics returns for its sixth season on Thursday, January 14, and its trailer, with the tagline "Getting Weirder," promises it will be the weirdest season yet. This psychedelic trailer depicts more of the absurdity in the seemingly mundane lives of our favorite TelAmeriCorp employees Adam, Blake and Ders (Adam Devine, Blake Anderson and Anders Holm). The trio doesn't usually have to go it alone, though, as guest stars continue to appear on the show. So which stars will guest star in the sixth season of "Workaholics" ?

According to Comedy Central, the synopsis for the premiere episode says, "The men move to another branch of TelAmeriCorp to work for a charismatic leader." The charming new boss will be played by comedian Dane Cook. And, based on a photo posted by Adam Devine on Instagram that shows the group wearing 80s suits and a Gordon Gekko-esque look, I can surmise that Liam Hemsworth Hemsworth and Pauly Shore may be new colleagues at the Rancho branch. Other guest stars expected to appear this season include Whitney Cummings and Andy Dick.

It's a star-studded season, but that's what fans have come to expect from the show. And, before you tune in to Workaholics on Thursday, January 14, take a look back at some of the best guest stars from past seasons.

1. Steve Howey

Steve Howie plays Adam's cousin the Black Knight, a former medieval knight who prefers to be called Tony and says he never made an offer to the Black Knight.

2. Black keys

The pair guest-starred as trash in small claims court wearing weirdly long ponytails.

3. Chris D’Elia

Chris D'Elia plays a disturbingly cool pedophile who tries to trick Justin Bieber into trapping them.

4 & 5. Seth Rogen & Zac Efron

To promote the film Neighbors, Rogen and Efron teamed up with the workaholics known as the #cubicleneighbors to compete for the coveted fourth spot in the gang's TelAmeriCorp cubicle.

6. Rebel Wilson

The Pitch Perfect pair team up again, but this time Rebel Wilson plays the devout Juggalo.

7. Ben Stiller

Ben Stiller played the landlord of these guys in an episode called "Front Yard Wrestling."

8. Jack Black

Jack Black plays Adams' brother/father. Need I say more?

9. Tom Arnold

In flashbacks, Arnold plays the men's old boss. And, their parody of "Lazy Sunday" was hilarious.

10. Larmer Willis

Willis plays a pretty drug dealer who ends up being more than the guys can handle.

11. Tom Green

Green plays an online version of himself.

It's clear that this show knows how to take guest stars and put them in a new and surprising role, so I can't wait to see how the stars of Season 6 come together!
