Kellogg's is about to launch crunchy nutty peanut butter

Your cereal/spread prayers have been answered. Kellogg's is launching a crunchy, nutty peanut butter so you can enjoy the taste of the brand's famous cereal on toast. The new peanut butter will bring the honey-nutty flavor of the popular cereal to classic peanut butter, plus some secret ingredients the brand has been keeping secret.

The new spread has been created in partnership with Manchester-based manufacturer Duerr's, known in the food world for its jams, marmalades and nut butters. This new product is quite possibly one of their most unique products yet (alongside their Peamutt Butter for dogs).

Sally Addenbrook, brand marketing manager at Duerr's, said in a statement to Good Housekeeping : "We're really excited to be partnering with Kellogg's to create this truly delicious peanut butter. We're effectively taking an iconic flavor and a much-loved Crunchy texture. That’s all we want to say, the rest is top secret.”

While this exciting collaboration is a little outside the norm, it's certainly not the craziest one yet. Marmite peanut butter, anyone? The iconic British brand launched crunchy and smooth versions in 2019. The new product is Marmite's first permanent product innovation since it was founded in 1902, and the brand says there has been "huge demand" from consumers mixing the two spreads together.
