The latest season of the UK 's original Love Island just started airing this week, but if you can't get enough of the romance and drama, don't worry. Love Island is returning to CBS for its third season, and the network has just announced the top 12 contestants for this season. Like previous iterations of the show, the islanders in season three will enter a villa where they are cut off from the outside world and can only communicate with each other and are subject to constant video surveillance. They must then be paired up based on first impressions and must stay in pairs to survive the competition or they will be replaced by a new contestant. At the end of the season, half of the winning couples will receive $100,000 and choose whether to keep it or share it with their partner as a test of trust.
Host Ariel Vandenberg will return to Love Island USA for Season 3, with Matthew Hoffman returning to provide voiceovers. While production plans for Season 2 have been hampered by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, forcing the show to abandon its usual filming locations in Fiji in favor of the Cromwell Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, in Season 2 In three seasons, the lovelorn singles will once again be on a real island. Ahead of the premiere, here's everything we know about the third season of Love Island US .
