If there's one unique lockdown fashion truth, it's this: loungewear wins. Like, really winning. Sweatpants take center stage. Pajamas became acceptable work attire. Things got casual—quickly. As sequined gowns and silk blouses gather dust, the collection of comfortable clothing continues to grow. If there's one brand that's truly riding the loungewear wave with unprecedented success, it's Skims. In addition to its '90s-inspired bralette and Fendi collaboration, Kim Kardashian's loungewear brand has also released a Sleep collection of super-soft clothing. Five Bustle editors had the opportunity to review the Skims line of pajamas and robes.
"I've always wanted to try Skims products, but this was my first time," said Rachel Lapidos, senior lifestyle and beauty editor. "My initial thought was, damn, the hype about buttery-soft fabrics is justified."
Associate fashion director Jessica Andrews agreed: She was "blown away" by the smooth feel of the fabric before she even tried it on. "I love that the fabric is breathable and soft to the touch," she says. “It’s made from jersey so it’s lightweight and cool, which comes in handy when I’m firing on all cylinders around the apartment.”
Amanda Chan, vice president of content strategy, was pleasantly surprised by how well the pajamas fit.
"At first, I thought everything would be too sticky to my skin and too long," Chen said. "But that's not the case. These pajamas are loose enough to be comfortable, but they don't make me feel like I'm swimming in them when I actually sleep in them."

How's the fit?
I love that these pants have stretch. I always get tired of wearing pants because I have curves in the hips and the pants usually have a gap in the waistband or are too tight on the thighs. These are very flowy and have an elastic waistband so I feel comfortable wearing them.
What do you like about pajamas?
What I'm obsessed with is that the robe has pockets (!!) so I can track my phone, which I always leave haphazardly at home. Plus, the fit of these pants is unparalleled – the wood color matches my skin tone and looks gorgeous. My only challenge was that the fabric wrinkled easily, so I did an extra tumble in the dryer to get the fabric smooth and warm.
Will you shop from Skims again?
Absolutely. When it comes to loungewear, Skim hits the spot . Their pieces are always made from the finest, softest fabrics, fit perfectly (for those of us with curves), and somehow they look stylish yet effortless. I live in this robe on the weekends and would love to add some similar items to my wardrobe. I think I will try the Cozy series next.

How's the fit?
I was surprised by the size of the pajama set. I have other Skims products that are either very accurate in size, or a little too small. This isn't a big deal with pajamas since you just want them to be comfortable, but if you're in between sizes I recommend ordering a size down, or even ordering both options to see which works best suitable.
What do you like about pajamas?
I absolutely love the material and overall feel of these pajamas. They're super soft and comfortable, but feel more luxurious than a standard pajama set. The best thing about this fabric is that while it will keep you nice and cozy before bed, it's not so warm that you'll wake up sweaty in a pajama/blanket/warmer combo.

Yes. I would buy Skims every day if I could.

How's the fit?
These pajamas fit perfectly! I also really like the elastic on the waistband of the pants - it has a tie so you can adjust it further, but the elastic itself is sturdy enough to keep the pants high (and not drag on the floor) without being uncomfortable at all .
What do you like about pajamas?
First of all, these pajamas are really beautiful – especially the way they are loose and fit, which is amazing for pajamas. I love the material too. They are so silky smooth. Even though [the robe and top] are long-sleeved and the pants are [very long], and it's hot when I sleep, I don't sweat at all wearing these.

Absolutely. I have recommended these same pajamas to several friends!

How's the fit?
This material is the epitome of comfort and is perfect for lounging around the house. What I didn't expect, however, was how [oversized] it was. Sure, they're sleepwear, but I think the focus at Skims is on better-fitting shapewear and sexy silhouettes. Even though I bought a pajama set in my size, I actually swam in the top and bottoms. The bottoms are also too long for me, who is short. I definitely recommend downsizing.
What do you like about pajamas?
My favorite feature is the fabric itself, but the fit could be better (and, dare I say, more Kardashian-esque). I prefer wearing short-sleeved tops to bed, so I don’t like the long-sleeved tops in the Skims set. To be honest, I'm content with a worn out oversized tee as my pajama top and some soft sweatpants. So I would be more interested if Skims would make these pieces for their pajama line.
Will you shop from Skims again?
Yes, but I prefer to buy shapewear or T-shirts instead of pajamas.

How's the fit?
I like a relaxed, oversized atmosphere, and both goals were achieved. I bought my regular size (medium) and they feel just the right amount of loose. I can hang out all day and still be comfortable.
What do you like about pajamas?
First and foremost: the fabric. It's so buttery soft and feels like a velvety smoothness on the skin. They make me feel more presentable than wearing a mismatched sweatshirt, but they're not gaudy by any means. If I could have pajamas in every color, these would definitely be my go-to for everyday wear.
