Advertisement reveals where she stands with Matthew after Love Is Blind

Love Is Blind is officially back, with its sixth season premiering on Valentine's Day. In the pod, Amber Desiree “AD” Smith and Matthew Duliba were one of the first couples to connect. "You make me nervous but comfortable at the same time," Matthew told AD. "What I say to you, I won't say to anyone else."

It's a big sign of the show's commitment to a podcast where the podcasts process conversations from other cast members - so you never know where your beau's other connections are. Despite talk of being engaged to Matthew, AD quickly learned in the Love Is Blind women's lounge that she wasn't the only one close to ending up with Matthew.

A love triangle emerges

Amber Grant revealed that she and Matthew also became very serious and even talked about proposing to her father - just like he did with AD, whose father recently passed away.

When faced with the similarities, Matthew told AD his feelings for her "got deeper." But alas, AD felt his experience had been "manipulated" and severed ties with Matthew, eventually pursuing Clay Gravesander instead.

Amber decided to go off on her own and apologized to AD for revealing her relationship with Matthew. But AD said it was not necessary, and the two hugged, ending a chaotic love-blind love triangle.

AD, Amber and Matthew Today

Considering the way they left, it's no surprise that AD and Amber are on good terms now. In fact, AD tells Bustle that the women are "very close friends" and still talk regularly to this day.

As for AD and Matthew? Although AD told Matthew he was "bold" the last time they met on Love Is Blind , the pair spoke after the show. "We had a few conversations and there was no bad blood or tension between us. We all just moved on with our lives."

In fact, she wouldn't change any part of the Love Is Blind experience—except maybe one little thing. "Honestly, I probably would have brought more shoes," she said. "You know, they eat my clothes off. But I might bring more options."
