Kelly's new album has feminist and empowering lyrics

The time has finally come: the tracklist for Kelly Clarkson’s album Piece by Piece is here, and I’m already obsessed with all the songs. No longer will I judge them solely by their names — like "Nostalgic" and "Dance With Me" — or that one of them is a John Legend duet ("Run Run Run"), I'm going to give up on the haunting things she posted online Confident lyrics to her website. Ahead of its February 27 release, Clarkson asked fans to share how their lives relate to her lyrics as she works on a secret project surrounding the album. My guess is that she'll make a tear-jerking video with her best story, like Taylor Swift gives her fans a Christmas present, and we'll never stop crying over it.

The best part about these lyrics is that many of them are feminist and empowering, giving us more anthems to sing at karaoke with friends, or powerful tracks to dance to after a breakup. Check out the tracklist and four of the best lyrics from the album (so far) below:

1. "Heartbeat Song" 2. "Invincible" 3. "Someone" 4. "Take You High" 5. "Piece By Piece" 6. "Run Run Run" by John Legend 7. "I Had a Dream" 8. "Let Your Tears Fall" 9. "Tightrope" 10. "War Paint" 11. "Dance with Me" 12. "Nostalgia" 13. "Goodbye, Goodbye"

Deluxe Edition tracks:

14. "Bad Reputation" 15. "Blue" 16. "Second Wind"

"War Paint"

Clarkson gives us the confidence to take off our makeup and be ourselves: "We can be beautiful even without our war paint."

"Invincible"

Whenever you have a bad day at work, chant these words: “Now I am invincible/No, I am no longer a scared little girl/Yes, I am invincible/Now I am invincible Yeah, I'm a perfect storm."

"Little by Little"

Whether this is about Clarkson's daughter River Ross or not, this is pretty powerful: "I'll never leave her like you left me/She'll never have to doubt her worth/Because unlike you, I'll leave her Put it first.”

"I have a dream"

Finally, remember that no matter what you do, you will always make an impact: “Remember, the footprints you leave behind will tell us all who you really are.”
