Emily Ratajkowski is a bikini connoisseur. In fact, she loves swimwear so much that she founded her own brand, Inamorata, selling the most exquisite and sophisticated bikinis. So when she collaborates with other brands on suits, you better believe they're chic.
On Wednesday, April 17, the My Body author joins Gigi Hadid, Paloma Elsesser and Tina Kunakey for Victoria Victoria's Secret's latest advertising campaign "Escape from Summer 2024". While the lingerie giant typically casts supermodels (Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid among them), their regular ad campaigns usually focus on a big-name star.
However, a mountainous list of models means an equally huge collection drops - in this case, spanning beachwear, sleepwear and resort wear. Ratajkowski effortlessly styled different product categories with not one, not two, but three pieces of beachwear.
Emily's corset and thong
If any brand can bring a lingerie staple to the swimwear space, it's Victoria's Secret. The titan effectively did this by dressing Ratajkovsky in a corset and thong suit. While the matching ensemble is technically pajamas, the look is totally beach-y.
Photographed by Mikael Jansson, Ratajkowski wears a luxurious emerald green silk bustier that opens in the front. This fitted piece features visible boning, shoulder straps and an angled hem. However, it was her choice of underwear that led to her look being labeled "NSFW."
Ratajkowski wore a matching green thong (buy the set here for $100) that peeked out from her tropical-print pants. The brand teases that the collection is "inspired by classic silhouettes from the '90s and early 2000s"—and they're not kidding. The awe-inspiring whale tail is undoubtedly the most infamous style of the early period.
More vacation inspiration
In another arrangement, Ratajkovsky poses on the shore in a black tie. She wore a bandeau top with matching bottoms. Like the first photo, Ratajkovsky is wearing a leafy tropical blouse paired with a Western-style belt.
The thick belt became a must-have for this shoot, paired with a black jumpsuit with a center slit. She also paired it with a raffia hat and biker boots, adding a low-key cowgirl vibe to the look.
