Selena Gomez is tired of people talking about her body. On Dec. 12, the actor responded on TikTok that she was "always skinny" when she dated Justin Bieber. The TikTok video showed photos from Gomez's relationship with Bieber, and then showed a screenshot of a comment Gomez posted on Instagram in response to a fan who declared "Jelena forever." "No love, he prefers modeling. I'm just too normal," she reportedly wrote.
Gomez commented on TikTok, leaving a simple sad emoji. Fans responded to her comment, trying to decipher the meaning of her reply. "Maybe she's upset that you guys keep bringing up her body changes over the years. She has the right to react to her own life," one user wrote, while another said they thought "her comment was sarcastic Meaning." But given her previous willingness to publicly criticize body shamers, she's likely uncomfortable with people making comments about her body again.
