Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner just had a 13 Going on 30 reunion.
The pair starred in the 2004 romantic comedy, which tells the story of prepubescent Jenna Link (played by Krista B. Allen and Garner) who wakes up after her birthday wish comes true. 30 year old woman.
Garner reunited with Ruffalo at his Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony on February 8 and gave a touching speech in honor of Ruffalo.
At the event, she credited Ruffalo's character, Matt Flamhaff, in "13 Going on 30" for paving the way for male romantic comedy leads.
"Mark attributes the success of romantic comedies to scruffy hair and cute unbuttoned collared shirts, two styles that over the next 20 years became the norm for cute men everywhere," she added.

During his speech, Garner also named some of Ruffalo's romantic comedy co-stars, including Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow and Keira Knightley, and said he "Anxiety" about the scenes in 13/30 almost caused him to quit the film.
"I wonder if these respectable ladies enjoy Mark's angst as much as I do," she continued, "and I wonder if he's trying to quit their movies, like he quit after his first dance rehearsal for 'Thriller' Our movies are the same.”
To the delight of fans, the two stars later re-performed their 13 Going on 30 "Thriller" dance at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, after which Garner had more praise for Ruffalo.
"Mark, working with you is loving you," she continued. “The real success is how excited and happy your colleagues are that they have the opportunity to support you and celebrate you.”

While fans are still waiting for a sequel to the 2004 romantic comedy, both Garner and Ruffalo have previously shared their thoughts on potential sequels.
"I think (Jenna and Marty) are going to have a son, and I think he looks a lot like Ryan Reynolds," Garner said during a 2022 appearance on "Good Morning America" with Ruffalo. "I thought maybe he would be a period tourist."
Joking that the sequel might be titled 50 Going on 80 , she continued: "Then in 10 years we could do 65 Going on 90. We could franchise out of it." "
