Blake Moynes and Natalie Lee just confirmed a Love Blind and The Bachelorette crossover that fans have long suspected. Recently, during an appearance on the Out of the Pods podcast, which Lee co-hosts, they revealed that they had a brief relationship - past tense - that ended on good terms.
Moines explained to co-host Deepti Vempati that he and Lee share a reality TV connection. "The answer is yes. We did date," Lee quipped, adding that Moines remains "one of my favorite people."
Lee, who starred in the second season of Love Is Blind, also revealed that the former couple made a "marriage contract" and said: "If I don't get married before I turn 35, he said we will have children and get married." When Vempati noted Moines, 33, who is approaching 35 "soon", jokingly replied: "How many [years]? Yeah, we might have to postpone that."
Rumors of their romance emerged in July 2022, when People magazine reported that the reality stars visited a Caribbean wildlife sanctuary together.
Recalling that trip, Lee revealed she "didn't know" Moynes at the time and hadn't watched his season of The Bachelorette . “I’d heard things about you through social media — I mean, good things — but there was a lot of news about your ex at the time,” she said.
Moynes starred on the 2020 season of The Bachelorette starring Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams. The following year, he returned for Season 17 of The Bachelorette , during which time he became engaged to Katie Thurston. The couple split in 2021.
Lee himself is no stranger to reality TV. On Love Is Blind , she originally planned to tie the knot with fellow contestant Shayne Jansen, but decided not to have a wedding.
Looking back on their brief romance on Out of the Pods , Moines said he and Lee bonded quickly. "We were able to be who we were and it didn't take long to get to that level of comfort," he shared, before making it clear that he's currently "very, very single."
