Kylie Jenner's turtleneck dress featured in 'Ellen'

Turtlenecks are in style right now (for both girls and boys), but how do you make them party-friendly? Kylie Jenner's appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show is the perfect example. The 18-year-old reality star wore a turtleneck dress on the talk show that will give you plenty of holiday party inspiration, reports the Daily Mail. Seriously, this is how you wear a miniskirt in the winter without looking almost crazy/ridiculous.

Jenner was on the talk show this week, and even though we're not quite over Thanksgiving yet, she looked totally holiday-ready in a killer turtleneck dress. Oh, and by the way, it’s velvet, too. slay. A mini dress + winter may not necessarily match, but wearing a turtleneck dress will definitely make it look less summery. Especially when it's velvet.

Jenner's dress was knee-length, a gorgeous taupe color, and featured a very bold slit in the middle. She paired it with nude strappy sandals and wore her hair down in cascading waves, pulled to one side. She looks polished but still has a little bit of her signature edge. I think this look is easy to copy for holiday parties this season.
