If you've ever wanted to spend the night at the Addams Family mansion, I have good news: you can now! In honor of the October 11 release of the new animated film The Addams Family , Booking.com has recreated the creepy, weird, mysterious, and weird family home in a new listing in New York City, but there's a problem : Bookings will only be available for four nights through the end of October. Pre-orders open on October 28th at 12pm EST, so add a reminder to your calendar and set your alarm; these four nights may go by quickly.
Created by cartoonist Charles Addams, the Addams Family - patriarch Gomez, matriarch Morticia, their children Wednesday and Pugsley, relatives Uncle Fester, Grandma and Cousin It, and various others friends and relatives, including the butler Lucci and the disembodied hand/family pet Thing - a satirical look at the American family in the 20th century. Beginning in 1938, this offbeat and hilarious family first appeared as a one-panel cartoon in The New Yorker and went on to become an important part of American pop culture. From the hit TV show of the 1960s to the feature film series that brought them to the big screen in the 1990s, The Addams Family have proven themselves to be timelessly relevant—and now, they're back. But in the animated "The Addams Family ," set to be released this week, they're dealing with an unprecedented terrorist attack: moving to New Jersey.

So to celebrate, Booking.com is launching a fun new property, four days only: The Addams Family Mansion. Located in Brooklyn's Clinton Hill neighborhood, it brings the Adams home to life—and yes, you can actually spend the night in it . It's perhaps worth noting that the exterior of Booking.com's version of the Addams House doesn't look quite as mansion-like as the spooky family's usual home. However, affordable luxury homes are hard to find in Brooklyn, so this oversight may be forgiven. Plus, it 's still a pleasant-looking 19th-century townhouse, and at 3,700 square feet, it's much larger than a typical New York apartment. (For comparison, the New York Post reported in 2015 that the average studio apartment in New York was just 550 square feet.)
The Addams Family Mansion has three bedrooms and can accommodate up to four guests. The master bedroom—which, of course, Gomez and Morticia would call their own—has a king-size bed, a very dark canopy, and some, uh, snakes (probably made of rubber); Guthrie's room comes with a queen-size bed, a bear trap, and some explosive devices (hopefully none of them work); in Wednesday's room, you sleep on a single bed with a rather rough-looking of a guillotine, while most other beds come with a regular headboard. There are also tons of creepy toys hidden throughout all the rooms to play with, from haunted-looking dolls and dollhouses to real balls and chains.
And, of course, there's a living room. The room has red damask wallpaper and is decorated in "true Addams Family fashion," according to the Booking.com listing, including an elegant red and gold sofa, swords on the wall, a bearskin rug, and a selection of Mortician treasures carnivorous plants. Other bells and whistles include "weird snacks," branded amenities and a screening of the new Addams Family movie itself. Of course, since you'll be located in one of Brooklyn's most vibrant neighborhoods, you can always step out of the mansion and take part in any other spooky activities that may be happening elsewhere during your stay.
Reservations open on October 28th at 12pm ET for stays on October 29th, 30th, 31st, and November 1st — sadly, these four nights are the only ones at this creepy hotel Nights available for booking. . But hey, if you miss out, you can always console yourself with a stack of "Web Cake Wednesdays," aka buttermilk pancakes with frosting that looks like spider webs; IHOP offers a full Addams Family theme Menu until November 3rd. Or, if the idea of frosted pancakes isn't for you, you can always ease your sorrows with a cup of Morticia's Haunted Hot Chocolate. .
