Just when you thought it was all doom and gloom, an extra-large tub of Lotus Biscuit Spread hits the market online and suddenly everything is sunny. Catering company Pure Gusto is currently selling its sweet caramel sauce in 1.6kg and 8kg containers, and I'm ready to go .
The smaller of the two tubs is priced at £9.99, the larger is £40 and can be ordered online. Pure Gusto recommends using it as a "delicious topping and filling for crepes, waffles, pancakes, cakes, puddings, ice cream, gelato, milkshakes and other desserts." I'd like to add my own advice to that list: "Use a spoon and put directly into your mouth."
The news comes after Lotus Biscoff announced a new chocolate bar packed with its signature flavour, and launched a stunning ice cream range last year.
