This article explains how to purchase and download music from Amazon Music.
Downloading songs from Amazon to your computer is easy using the Amazon Music website or desktop app. Here's how it works:
Both Amazon Prime members and Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers can download All-Access playlists, but only Music Unlimited members can save songs and albums for offline listening.
Open Amazon Music in a web browser or install the Amazon Music app for Windows.
To download songs from your Music Library, select Music Library > Music .
Select the Songs tab.
Click on the three dots next to the song you want to download.
Select Download .
Save the song to your computer. If you're using the desktop app, you'll see a little blue arrow indicating that the music is available for offline listening.
If you are an Amazon Music subscriber, you can also download songs that are not in your music library. Click the search bar at the top of the desktop app (not the Amazon Music website) to find the song, then repeat steps 4 and 5 above.
Downloading songs from Amazon Music is also easy using the mobile app. It works basically the same as desktop apps and websites.
The instructions shown here are from the Android app, but the process is the same for the iOS app.
Download, install and open the Amazon Music mobile app.
Sign in to your account and go to Library > Music to select the songs you want to download. Or, click "Find" to search for the song you want to download.
Click the three dots next to the song.
Select "Standard Download" .
While you can download free songs on Amazon, there are many more songs available for purchase. If you want to download a song to your phone or computer without an Amazon Music subscription, you need to purchase the song first.
Open the Amazon Music digital music store to find the music you want to buy. Categories like New Releases and Best Sellers make it easy to find something you might like.
Select Purchase Options > MP3 Music to purchase the album. Alternatively, find the track in the list and get three points > Buy MP3 Song .
Select "Buy MP3 Album - Pay Now" if you want to get the entire album, or "Buy MP3 Song - Pay Now" to purchase the song.
