Aimed at gamers and creatives, these new laptops can handle even the most intense visuals without being filled with bloatware right out of the box.
Everyone hates bloatware, so the good news is that these new laptops don't come with annoying programs that no one needs.
In a press release sent to Lifewire on Tuesday, MAINGEAR announced the launch of its new ML-16 series of gaming laptops. These new laptops feature Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processors and a choice of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 or 4070 mobile GPUs. MAINGEAR promises they also come with a powerful cooling system and a long-lasting 80Wh battery.
The battery also features a Turbo mode that allows you to choose between three modes, which helps extend battery life even during intense gaming sessions.
The ML-16 series' 2560X1600 QDH 240Hz display features a 16:10 aspect ratio, perfect for creatives. The monitor also takes advantage of NVIDIA's Dynamic Display Switching technology to help manage battery efficiency by alternating between Intel Arc and NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs. The result is crisp detail and low latency, allowing you to focus on the moment without any stutter or lag.
The laptops also feature an RGB keyboard, a full numeric keypad, and an extended touchpad hidden in the aluminum panel frame. They come with a Thunderbolt 4 port, USB-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an Ethernet port, an HDMI port, a MicroSD card reader, and a 3.5mm combo port. There are 16GB, 32GB and 64GB memory options, and for storage you can choose from 1TB-8TB options, with the 8TB option being two 4TB chips.
But the best thing about this laptop is that it runs a bloatware-free version of Windows 11 Pro. This means you don't have to spend time trying to remove unnecessary programs or deal with any stress on the CPU and GPU caused by these unnecessary programs.
The limited edition version of the ML-16 range includes an IP67 waterproof hard case and limited edition artwork on the lid, case and wallpaper top. Only 50 of these units are available. Pricing for the ML-16 starts at $1,869, with a pre-configured version equipped with an NVIDIA RTX 4060 priced at $1,899, and an RTX 4070 version priced at $2,199.
