A global study of 9,200 travelers in 31 countries conducted by Hotels.com Mobile Travel Tracker revealed that more than 53% of Americans have made same-day hotel reservations. Talk about last minute. Why do they do this? Well, 15% of those people are booked because a date night or night out went too well and they need somewhere to crash.
