Enhanced Safe Browsing is turned off by default in Google Chrome, but you can easily turn it on on desktop and mobile devices. You can turn on Enhanced Safe Browsing the same way on a Windows or Mac computer.
Even if you sync your Google account, you need to activate this feature individually for each device.
In Chrome, select the three dots in the upper right corner, then select Settings .
Select Privacy & Security on the left, then Security on the right.
Under "Safe Browsing," mark the "Enhanced Protection" option.
Alternatively, select the arrow to the right of Enhanced Protection to get additional information about the feature.
