If you want to turn off Find My remotely, you need to erase everything on your iPhone. If you just want to disable this feature without erasing anything, you'll need to do this directly from your phone.
If you're planning to sell or give away your old iPhone, it's a good idea to turn off Find My, clear your iPhone's data, and sign out of iCloud. If you're concerned that someone might be using your iPhone to track you, but you want to keep using your phone, turn off Find My and skip the other steps.

You don't have to use an Apple device to turn off Find My remotely. The iCloud website is also available. In this order:
Open the iCloud website and log in with your Apple ID.
Select Find My to open the iCloud Find Devices page.
Select your iPhone from the "All Devices" section.
Select Wipe this device .
