Well , Jiujiu fans, this is not a drill. Remember that great fake marriage scene between Rosa and Adrian in Season 4? Thankfully, Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Stephanie Beatrice apparently didn't have second thoughts when she got married over the weekend, according to several new reports. Beatrice (who plays detective Rosa Diaz on the show) tied the knot with her real-life partner Brad Hawes on Saturday, October 6, in a ceremony planned by the pair themselves. Or even better? Some of Beatrice's friends from the 99th Precinct came to celebrate the newlyweds' big day.
"That's all we talked about at work last week," Beatrice told People during their pre-wedding chat, referencing her Brooklyn Nine-Nine family and their palpable excitement for the wedding. Based on the actor's next comments, it sounds like the cast may have reacted in the most "99" way possible. "We were like, 'Yeah, we can't wait to party!'" Beatrice finished.
So, which of 99's lovable and goofy employees actually hit the dance floor on Saturday night? Less than 24 hours later, photos from Beatriz and Hoss' wedding are still leaking out. This makes sense, since the night's festivities probably weren't over as they began.
But if the current wedding-related posts on social media from Beatriz's 99 cast members are any indication, it looks like at least two of the actor's co-stars were in attendance at the wedding on Saturday night. Unsurprisingly—considering the trio's sweet public announcements of friendship over the years—the co-stars in attendance were definitely Melissa Fumero and Chelsea Peretti, known as Detectives Amy Santiago and Gina, respectively · Lenetti.
How do we know? Fumero and Peretti were active on Instagram Saturday afternoon and into the evening. The first (and perhaps most stunning) post came from Peretti, who shared a photo of Beatrice and Hoss standing hand in hand in what appears to be their actual wedding. Peretti appropriately captioned the perfect photo with two heart-eyes emojis and the hashtag #stephandbrad.
Fumero, for her part, documented the couple's wedding reception later in the afternoon via her Instagram Story. "On the way to celebrating #StephandBrad," the actor wrote, alongside a selfie of herself wearing a truly fabulous cheetah print ensemble. With two more clicks on Fumero's IG Story, curious fans can catch a glimpse of Beatriz and Hoss's wedding reception in action via a quick Boomerang video from within. (Seriously, those who want to catch a glimpse of this happy event in all its moody glory should really check out Fumero's Instagram Stories.)
Based on Beatriz's pre-wedding chat with People , it sounds like Fumero and Peretti weren't the only 99ers to hold their ground at Beatriz and Hoss's lavish reception. So while Andy Samberg may not have spoken publicly about the wedding on social media on Saturday, Beatrice's earlier comments to People did seem to strongly suggest that Samberg I completely decided to participate a few days ago. Why?
"I think Andy was excited to have another hot Cheetos burrito," Beatrice joked at the time, referring to part of the wedding plans she and Hoss were planning. As she told the publication, traditional hors d'oeuvres are replaced with classic L.A.-style food trucks. Plus, like the rest of the Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast, the actor says Samberg is probably looking forward to performing some dance moves, too. "I think all of us are excited about dancing," Beatrice told People. “Everyone loves to get on the dance floor.”
Unfortunately, while Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans might be interested in seeing a video of the cast "hitting the dance floor" at Beatrice's wedding, nothing like it currently seems to exist — or at all, anyway Not publicly available. Having said that, we hope it still happens. And, we'd love to have more photos and videos from Beatriz and Hoss' wedding.
