Olivia Rodrigo just wrapped up the European leg of her “GUTS” world tour. Now, the singer-songwriter finally has some well-deserved time off to enjoy the summer before she resumes her stadium tour in the U.S. next month. Until then, she'll be sharing clips from her break on Instagram.
In a new post on the mainnet, Rodrigo posted a carousel with a compilation of photos, a small window into her daily activities while on vacation. You can see the matcha Rodrigo ordered, the Joan Didion novel she was reading, and even a clip of her napping in the back seat of her car. In another photo, she's posing outside in her favorite top: a graphic T-shirt. Rodrigo has a history of rock classic band T-shirts, but this time, she's paying homage to another of her favorite artists.
Olivia's Tribute T-Shirt
Rodrigo's latest outfit is a black T-shirt with a red apple and "FIONA" written in the middle, a tribute to singer Fiona Apple. Rodrigo shared this photo as part of a carousel with the caption "randomz," but her outfit was anything but.
The singer has previously admitted that Apple is a big source of inspiration for her. Critics have noted that Rodrigo's music is reminiscent of angsty '90s divas like Apple and Alanis Morissette. So when she wore this top to pay homage to one of her idols, the results were in.
Rodrigo paired the short-sleeved silhouette with a cute brown asymmetrical miniskirt and a pair of black patent buckle flats. She paired it with a pair of oval caramel sunglasses and a black shoulder bag.

Last summer, Rodrigo rocked another nostalgic look wearing a vintage Pat Benatar T-shirt when he arrived at the BBC Radio 1 studios in London. She wore a classic shirt with a gray miniskirt, black oval sunglasses, white socks and Mary Jane flats.
Rodrigo continues her graphic T-shirt journey with an all-white look featuring a signature red photo of a young Angelina Jolie. Olivia's single "Vampire" had just come out, so it's a cute nod to her own song by rocking Julie's bloody mouth.
The singer paired the red look with a cute white pleated miniskirt, white socks and a pair of black penny loafers. She once again wore her favorite sunglasses shape and silver earrings. Rodrigo's bold crimson lip perfectly matched the outfit while strolling through New York City.
I wonder what other icons Rodrigo will choose to pay homage to next. However, I wouldn't be offended if she rocked an item of her own - she deserves it.
