It’s that time of year again! Bachelor in Paradise Season 9 is coming, giving your favorite Bachelor Nation alums another chance to meet, mingle and make out on the beaches of Mexico and, maybe, leave with a lasting love .
Of course, the last point is always a difficult decision. Recent seasons have welcomed weddings and babies, but they've also seen cheating accusations and shocking breakups, even for fan-favorite couples. So, what do the latest Bachelor in Paradise spoilers say about this year’s beach couples?
Reality Steve has already reported some connections this season — and there are still some twists and turns ahead. Let's start with one of the most anticipated newcomers: last year's co-Bachelor Rachel Recchia. According to Reality Steve , Rachel "hooked" with Tanner Courtard during their time at the beach. However, the Bachelor Nation blogger added that Rachel eliminated herself outside of the rose ceremony.
Another former lead, Katie Thurston, also reportedly went to heaven. Reality Steve says she was actually there to read group date cards (i.e. not to find love). While she was there, though, the Bachelor Nation expert added that she had "emotional conversations" with ex-fiancé Blake Moens. So, it sounds like some closures may be coming!
Speaking of Blake, Reality Steve reports that he's in heaven with Jesse Girod, but like Rachel, is sending herself home outside of the rose ceremony.
So... is anyone actually getting together on Bachelor in Paradise Season 9? Don't worry: For some Bachelor Nation alums, love does seem to be in the air. In his Paradise spoiler analysis, Reality Steve writes that he's "99% sure" Kate Izzo and John Henry Spurlock (who were eliminated early on Charity Lawson's season of The Bachelorette ) Engaged in season nine. He also shared a fan's video claiming to show Kate and John Henry, an "obvious couple," hanging out in John Henry's hometown after filming. So despite her candid clip with Brayden Powers on The Bachelorette: Men Tell All , Kate appears to have ultimately found a different connection in heaven.
Reality Steve also added that Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isich left heaven as a couple, but he's not sure about their relationship status today. Likewise, he said that Alvin Jones and Keri Russell have "been together" for a long time — and while he didn't know how they turned out, they reportedly "attended a party with the same group together" after filming ".
To find out how this all plays out, fans will have to wait until Thursday, September 28, when Bachelor in Paradise Season 9 premieres on a new night. Of course, these are just some of the reported pairings, and according to host Jesse Palmer, there are a few surprises in store.
"I bet there are some couples that no one saw coming, no one was able to connect with from the beginning," he recently told E! "[Like], 'It can't be those two.'" That's what inevitably happens. "
