Taylor Swift's 'Bejeweled' Takes on the Sheer Dress Trend and Is a Winner

The 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards belong to Taylor Swift, with the singer taking home four gongs in total. Not only did she end up winning the most trophies, but her eye-catching red carpet look was one of the most eye-catching fashion moments of the night. Swift followed the sheer sartorial trend, a favorite look among the Bridgerton stars, wearing a bejeweled design by Tbilisi-born, London-based designer David Koma clothes. Known for dressing the likes of Beyoncé and J. Lo, Koma has built a reputation for striking, structured silhouettes that incorporate bold cutout details and silhouettes.

Starring a gorgeous dress studded with emeralds, Swift paired the bodysuit with black Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, subtle green eyeshadow and a simple bun. Meanwhile, later in the night, she slipped into another equally eye-catching David Koma look - this time a disco ball-inspired mini polo dress.

The eagle-eyed Swift noted that the artist now seemed to be in her prime. Earlier this year, she rocked an Oscar de la Renta look at the VMA Awards, also wearing jewelry. Overall, it feels like a nod to her song "Bejeweled" and the heavenly vocals on her latest album, "Midnights."
