'Bachelor' contestant Bibiana will bring joy to Ali's life — literally

As fans prepare to tune into Season 22 of The Bachelor , curiosity about this season's contestants is at an all-time high. So, who is Bachelor contestant Bibiana? Well, actually there is a lot to learn. According to ABC, Bibiana Julian was a former Miami Dolphins cheerleader and currently works as an administrative assistant. As a member of the Dolphins Cheerleading Team, Bibiana became co-captain and was named Rookie of the Year. Interestingly, she revealed that football is actually her least favorite sport, saying she "secretly hates these games." That's interesting in itself.

The Dolphins Cheerleaders are a tight-knit group of women who, in addition to boosting team morale, serve as community ambassadors. Among their many responsibilities, the female members of the team serve as spokespersons for the Dolphins organization, often supporting charitable and promotional events throughout the Miami metropolitan area. Since this is a highly sought-after position, roster selection for the Miami Dolphins is a highly competitive process. A Miami Herald article on the team's 2017-2018 draft order explains the system in detail.

The program, dubbed a "pageant-style tryout," includes a swimsuit stage as well as individual and group dance competitions. The women also underwent an intense question-and-answer session to gauge their poise and personality. That tells you a lot about what Bibiana will bring to the table this season.

In 2006, at the age of 19, she was named America's Sexiest Cheerleader via an FHM online poll. In an interview during that time, Bibiana demonstrated her commitment to teamwork, explaining: "I think if any of our girls had competed, they would have won. It's a Dolphin thing." Having the ability to successfully navigate a team is a quality that can be helpful when forming alliances in a bachelor's house.

Bibiana also appears to be an avid traveler, with many vacation photos posted on her Instagram account showing her traveling to places like Greece, Colombia, the Turks and Caicos Islands, and Mexico. And, while Bibiana will soon be cementing her place in the ranks of reality TV stars, it seems she's already become great friends with Miami Lollipops' Astrid Bavaresco. In fact, she attended Babaresco's lavish birthday vacation back in July 2017.

With her background in sports and cheerleading, Bibiana could be a supportive partner for Ali given his career in racing. New Bachelors need support. After all, Season 22 is Ali's second attempt at love on The Bachelor franchise. The 36-year-old was heartbroken by Emily Maynard on Season 8 of The Bachelorette in 2012. Fans were surprised to see Maynard dump Ali, aka The Kissing Bandit, in favor of Jef Holm. However, no one was more shocked by the move than Ali himself, who was convinced that Maynard was the love of his life.

Despite his experience, Ali recently admitted that despite being dumped on the dating series, he hasn't felt anything like he did when he dated Maynard during Maynard's season. He revealed that the experience left a deep impression on him that ultimately helped him make the decision to return to the team. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight , he explained,

"I didn't feel the same way I did on 'The Bachelorette .' It really drove me to do this... [The show] gave me time to really put myself in front of other people and put everything into Shut it out.] Don’t worry about work and all the other stresses of life.”

Considering his experience on the show, it's safe to say that Ali will be more cautious in choosing a partner this time around as she works to live life to the fullest, and Bibiana might just be the one to win him over.
