These celebrities don't mind being single

Maybe it's because I've been flooded with engagement announcements on Facebook almost constantly lately, but there are definitely times when I feel my single status more than others. All I can really say is that modern romance can be confusing, and frankly, it's much easier for me to do it alone. While many celebrities, like John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, love to talk about how they fell in love, and others have gone from dating one hottie to another, it's surprising how many Being single continuously makes it easier for me to accept being single.

I've dealt with a few inquiries about my love life, most of which ended with "but you're such a trap" (thanks, grandma), and I'll admit, I sometimes fall into the same trap as what happened to me during my relationship That way. Vacationing with family and wondering why certain celebrities can't seem to find anyone

These celebrities are charismatic, successful, and seem to be well-adjusted, and they either just don't need other people to make them happy, or they're just waiting for the right person. What a progressive idea? To celebrate singles around the world, here are 12 celebrities who seem to be single but doing just fine.

In May 2015, Palmer discussed her love life on The Breakfast Club , announcing her single status, saying: "Being single is fun because you know what's going to happen? You find yourself. You Understand what it means to love yourself instead of putting all your energy into the give and pull of a relationship." She has reportedly not been with her longtime boyfriend Rodney King since splitting in 2013. Anyone ever dated.

2.Rihanna

He's been linked to Kendall Jenner, but Jordan admits he's only focused on his career and has never been in love! Jordan told GQ magazine how women fit into his life:

I tried to focus. I told myself when I was younger that once I saw this momentum, I would sacrifice my twenties for work. I am 28 years old this year. I still have a year and a half... I understand what women want and need, you know. I'm very good at this. I don’t know if I’m in the right position to hand it over to them right now. I am emotionally powerless. Until I discovered something undeniable that made me unable to control myself.

4. Kendall Jenner

Jenner was rumored to have dated a number of men in 2015, but none of them seemed to be romantically involved. Her last official boo was in 2013 from Julian Brooks, her high school football player boyfriend, and it seemed like she was just enjoying the single life while her modeling career kept her busy.

5. Janelle Monáe

Personally, I've never seen Monet go out with anyone and she's sworn to maintain a high level of secrecy about her relationships and sexuality. Although Monáe was rumored to be dating MC Lyte, she told Sway in the Morning in 2013,

You know, I keep my personal life private. I think one of the things is... because I want everyone to focus on my music, and I don't want to let anyone down. I hope women are still attracted to me - go get my album! I want men to still be attracted to me, so I have to be political about that. I really can't tell you.

6. Diane Keaton

Diane Keaton dated some of Hollywood's most legendary men, including Warren Beatty, Jack Nicholson and Al Pacino, but never married or settled down. The mother of two told People magazine in 2014 about never getting married, "It's not the worst tragedy. But I really wish I had bought myself a man! A good man, a great man Dad, I really do." She went on to say she was still open to a relationship, saying: "But I can't imagine... you have to put yourself out there, and that's for me. It's really hard. All the time. "I feel your pain, girl.

7. James Franco

Franco hasn't been seen dating any specific woman over the past few years, following his split from long-term girlfriend Ahna O'Reilly. He was rumored to have had affairs with Spring Breakers co-star Ashley Benson, his assistant, and Lana Del Rey, but nothing seems official about it. Now he's rumored to be dating new Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, so maybe that's the one for him. I won't hold my breath.

8. Taylor Kitsch

I know what you're thinking: How is Tim Riggins single? The last woman he was linked to was his True Detective co-star Rachel McAdams, but he quashed the rumors, saying they were friends. Last summer, Kitsch explained his eternal single status in a profile in Elle magazine,

As an actor, you sacrifice so much. How do you build a relationship with a girl and then tell her, "Hey, I got to go around the world doing press. I want you to feel the same way in eight weeks as you feel now." That's not me playing the violin. This is my choice. But it better be worth the sacrifice.

9. Chelsea Handler

In November 2015, Handler admitted to People magazine that she had stopped dating, saying, "I haven't dated in a year and I'm happy...I can't tell you how happy I am dating. "All the men I've dated seemed to be the same, but none of them had it. However, she admitted she has her eye on someone special. She told Glamor,

Great people exist. They may not be in the package you think you like, and they may not come when you feel you deserve them the most, but they're there. I believe this. You should too. Because now I'm with someone who makes me grow every day. His name is Netflix.

10. Tom Hiddleston

This confuses me because Tom Hiddleston seems to be the biggest gain of the century. He's talented, sexy, funny, kind (well, I'll stop talking), and seems...perfect. In recent years, there have been constant rumors about his love life, but there has been no official confirmation. He was last rumored to be dating Elizabeth Olsen, but she denied the news last September. It seems he's just patiently waiting for the right person, telling GQ , "I understand the curiosity. I hope when there's something to write about, I'll be able to say it."

11. Chris Evans

According to gossip, Evans has dated just about every hot Hollywood actress in the world. He did date Jessica Biel and Minka Kelly early in his career, and has since been spotted with a few women, but nothing seems to have gotten serious. Last September, Entertainment Tonight asked Evans if he was still in the transfer market and he replied: "That's still the case. There you have it."

12. Emilia Clarke

Clark's last public boyfriend was Seth MacFarlane in 2013, and she hasn't been officially in a relationship with anyone since. This year, she has been linked to Jai Courtney and Kit Harington, but nothing has been confirmed. Clark definitely doesn't mind being single, he told InStyle UK in its April 2014 issue ,

People keep asking me who I'm dating right now and the truth is...wait for [it]...no one. It doesn't matter. I'm figuring out a lot of things right now. I think as a woman, it’s in our nature to nurture others. Sometimes we pay the price.

These successful celebrities are embracing their single status, and we should all take a moment to celebrate our single lives.
