Truly's Hard Seltzer Chocolate Is Just What We Need This Year

We live in the peak age of hard seltzer. If you haven't succumbed to the glory of spiked soda yet, maybe this latest partnership will get you on board. Just in time for the holiday season, Compartes Truly Hard Seltzer Chocolate Truffles will dominate your holiday dessert table. They are drunk! They are beautiful! They're sure to get any soda lover in the holiday spirit.

Los Angeles chocolatier Compartes has teamed up with Truly Hard Seltzer to create a product that best describes millennials' dessert fever dreams. If you haven't heard of Compartes, you probably just haven't been browsing Instagram enough. Beloved by celebrities and chocolate lovers alike, this chocolatier is known for its too-beyond-your-eyes chocolates and unique flavor combinations, like donuts and coffee, and my personal favorite, cereal milk. If you're not familiar with Truly, I can't help you. (Kidding...sort of.) They are cold sorority sisters in a White Claw fraternity bro atmosphere. I love them unabashedly and without irony, and if I could, I would inject the flavor of grapefruit straight into my veins.

Launched in December 2020, Truly and Compartes created the first-ever hard seltzer chocolate, breaking new ground where food scientists had previously feared to venture. Each truffle combines decadent ganache with one of Truly's four different flavors: Wild Berry, Black Cherry, Blueberry and Acai or Raspberry Lime. Each five-piece truffle box comes with one of each flavor, as well as two wild berries.

There's really no wrong way to enjoy these chocolates. Popular once a day before Christmas, like a little Advent calendar. Pair them with their respective sodas and zero apology. Get one for that soda-addicted friend on your holiday shopping list. Then, get a copy for yourself so you don’t have to share it.

If you want to go all out with the hard seltzer theme, add a pack of Truly Sorbet to your cart. Yes, hard seltzer sorbet exists too, and it's all things hard seltzer.
