The Finger Lickin' Good KFC x HYPE launches bucket bag chicken

Now you can put it on and lick your fingers, and no, it's not a drill. KFC – the same chain that gives us crispy chicken tenders in buckets – has teamed up with streetwear brand HYPE to launch a range of playful apparel and accessories. The joint series includes 47 items, including hoodies, racerback jackets, bras and backpacks. If that's not enough, the KFC Bucket Bag is designed to hold a bucket of chicken, so you're covered when you get hungry on the go.

This isn't the first time KFC has launched a quirky, viral product in unfamiliar territory. Remember when the fast-food chain launched a lipstick that tasted like spicy chicken wings? Before that, we had KFC Gravy Scented Candles and KFC Crocs. Simply serving mouth-watering food no longer seems to cut it for the iconic 70-year-old brand.

The KFC x HYPE collaboration embodies this “more is more” spirit. Designed with the frivolous holiday season in mind, the collection delivers (pun intended) the restaurant chain's beloved slogan in HYPE's bold design language. For example, the collaboration includes a dad hat embroidered with "Bargain Bucket" and a loungewear set embossed with "It's Finger Lickin' Good."

Prices range from £19.99 (red original formula water bottle) to £79.99 (red Legacy Racer bomber jacket).

Well, you can enjoy both snacks and snacks this summer. If that's not victory, then we don't know what is.

The collaboration launches today (August 4) on the HYPE website and is also available at its flagship store on London's Carnaby Street.
