Nando's launches super-hot clothing range

Anyone want a cheeky Nando's? The latest food chain to jump on the fashion bandwagon, South African hot chicken bosses have just launched their new 'Extra Hot' clothing range - meaning Peri-Peri lovers can proudly show off their best in their heat-responsive clothing. My favorite level of spiciness.

While the various spice levels on offer at Nando's often seem to spark wild and somewhat illogical competition - lemon and vanilla shaming can be a common problem, for example - there's no such competitive nonsense to be found here. All levels of the PERi meter are taken into account. Nostalgic and throwback to the pinnacle of '90s fashion (colored T-shirts, anyone?), Chicken Shop's new socks, bucket hats, sweaters, and tops are dyed with heat-reactive thermochromic inks that gradually change color as the temperature rises. You might want to be careful next time you dip your food into Peri-Peri sauce.

Prices for the new Extra Hot range range from £15 for a pair of socks to £50 for a sweatshirt. The entire range is available to buy from Nando's website, with each item available in five different 'heat' options - regular, lemon and vanilla, medium, hot and extra hot. Modeling a collection? As well as witty rapper Niko B, TikTok users Jack Joseph and Madeline Argy and football presenter TBJZL, Nando's has also hired 2FM radio DJ Tara Kumar.

Nando's

The restaurant chain's new foray into the fashion world makes them a great partner. Earlier this year, Newcastle's best bakery chain Greggs teamed up with Primark to launch a collaboration filled with crocodile meat. Meanwhile, LIDL's gorgeous private-label sneakers became last fall's surprising "It" shoe. Hopefully flying flags on your favorite high street is an ongoing trend; you have to admit, Nando's bucket hat pairs perfectly with the Claire's Accessories logo hoodie.
