The ultimate treat for caramel lovers has finally arrived in the UK. Cadbury's caramel chocolate bars, made with a caramelized white chocolate mix and previously sold out of Australian stores, are now available to UK chocolate lovers.
The much-anticipated Caramilk chocolate bars will hit supermarket shelves nationwide from the end of June 2021 and can be found in major UK stores including Sainsbury's, Tesco, Waitrose and more.
There are currently three different versions of gold bars available: 37g gold bars priced at 69p, 80g gold bars priced at £1 and 90g gold bars priced at £1.50.
While many chocolate lovers are eager to try Cadbury's latest offering, initial reviews for the caramel chocolate bar have been mixed. "Tried one of the new Caramilk bars. It's like an overly sweet, horrible imitation of Caramilk. Pretty disappointing," one Twitter user wrote.
Others, however, were far more enthusiastic. "Cadbury's caramel chocolate bars are lethal and almost irresistible," said one admirer.

Hopefully the launch of Caramilks will also pave the way for Caramilk Hokey Pokey chocolate bars. Combining white chocolate and Hokey Pokey candies (which resemble honeycomb candies), this chocolate bar is a New Zealand twist on Australia's original chocolate. "This combination... combines two iconic New Zealand flavors in one delicious Cadbury nugget," marketing manager Kate Watson said at the product launch.
The Hokey Pokey stick was launched in New Zealand in June 2021, and after causing a bit of a stir, it was also launched in Australia in May 2021.
"When we released the Caramilk Hokey Pokey in New Zealand last year, we had a lot of requests from Australia, so it was obvious we had to bring it to Australia this year," Watson said.
With Caramilk now officially in circulation in the UK, it's inevitable that you'll fall in love with it. Make sure you check out the Hokey Pokey Bar @Cadbury's too.
