TikTok Viral Bloody Mary Snack Plate Will Become Your New Girl’s Dinner Go-To

Bloody Marys are often served with brunch, but what if you could enjoy one with dinner? No, not with dinner, for dinner. That's right — TikTok users are turning the beloved drink into the ultimate charcuterie board, and the snack version of this drink is like a girl's dinner.

Of course, as a drink, the Bloody Mary can be quite controversial. But as a cheese platter, there's something for everyone to enjoy. It's unclear who was the first to innovate the brunch Bev snack, but considering TikTok user Marissa Mullen (@thatcheeseplate) posted her go-to Bloody Mary charcuterie board recipe back in August 2021, it seems likely that this Foodies are among the first to innovate on trends. In the video, the creators show off all the ingredients needed to replicate the spicy, salty, and savory flavor the Bloody Mary is famous for, including bacon, peppers, lemons, cucumbers, celery, cheese, olives, and, of course, tomatoes. Oh, and don’t forget to compliment those spicy flavors with vodka, if you’re so inclined. To trick your palate into thinking you're enjoying an OG drink, Mullen also recommends trying the following pairings:

  • Manchego, tomatoes, bacon and pepperoni
  • Blue cheese, hot sauce, bacon and celery
  • Peppers, Garlic Olives and Cucumbers

If you're shocked by the lack of pickles in this sauce, you're not alone. In one comment asking about pickles, Mullen replied: "Wanted adding something different with fresh cucumbers to contrast all the saltiness on the plate!" Sounds like the experts know what they're talking about.

Thankfully, if you can't quite stomach a pickle-less Bloody Mary charcuterie board, you're more than welcome to put your own spin on the snack. For example, Kit Keenan (@kitkeenan) chose to pair a vegetable plate with shrimp, while @livelaughscrap skewered a Bloody Mary charcuterie.

User @taylor_golub, on the other hand, suggested serving the plate with pimento cheese sprinkled with Bloody Mary spices and adding some strawberries and blueberries to the mix. The best part about this recipe, though, is that it's meant to be enjoyed with a real Bloody Mary.
